I was the Sound Designer, Foley Artist, and Re-Recording mixer for the award-winning film Deep in My Heart is a Song. Featured in Oscar-qualifying film festivals, this drama from People People Media is about an isolated country singer's struggles. The soundscape revealed this character's solitude and lethargy.
Nibbles Must Die (Horror): Sound Design Breakdown
My walkthrough for a short horror film called Nibbles Must Die. As the Sound Designer, Foley Artist, and Re-recording Mixer, I was responsible for all the post-production sound. Strange tones and low frequencies build anticipation in many scenes, as does the rhythmic ticking of the toy haunting our protagonist.
Cholo (Surreal Drama): Sound Design Breakdown
A walkthrough of my creative process as the Sound Designer, Foley Artist, and Re-Recording Mixer for Cholo: a short, dreamlike narrative about a Hispanic child growing up in Colorado around chaos he doesn't understand. The audio is entirely from his perspective and uses my field recordings from Colorado.
